Recommended reading
We would like to draw our Readers' attention to the following recent articles:
- Health-aware and fault-tolerant control of an octorotor UAV system based on actuator reliability by Jean Carlo Salazar, Adrián Sanjuan, Fatiha Nejjari, Ramon Sarrate, which presents a health-aware and fault-tolerant control approach for an octorotor UAV that allows distributing the control effort among the available actuators based on their health information, and can reconfigure the controller to compensate actuator faults and improve the overall system reliability or delay maintenance tasks (2020, Vol. 30, No. 1).
- Utility optimization-based bandwidth allocation for elastic and inelastic services in peer-to-peer networks by Shiyong Li, Yue Zhang, Yan Wang, Wei Sun, which considers reasonable bandwidth allocation for multiclass services in peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, measures the satisfaction of each peer as a customer by a utility function when acquiring one service, and develops an optimization model for bandwidth allocation with the objective of utility maximization. (2019, Vol. 29, No. 1).
- Stabilization of an epidemic model via an N-periodic approach by Begoña Cantó, Carmen Coll, Elena Sánchez, who analyze the evolution of an infectious disease by combining different groups of a population when the route of transmission is via encounters with free-living virulent organisms that can survive for a long time outside the individual, and propose an N-periodic control strategy in order to stabilize the disease around the disease-free equilibrium point (2018, Vol. 28, No. 1).
Back issues digitized
We are happy to announce that full texts of all AMCS publications are available online – the back issues of our journal, i.e., Volumes 1–10 (1991–2000), totalling 410 papers, have been digitized as scans and made available for download. We hope this will make the earlier works better known in the scientific community.
